Dallas Police
05 a.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call in the 500 block of S. Carroll Avenue. The preliminary investigation determined when officers arrived they found Tacara Nashay Reese-Windom, 23, was shot inside a vehicle. Reese-Windom was taken to a local hospital where she died. A 5-month-old child also in the vehicle was taken to a local hospital for evaluation.
The investigation is ongoing and documented under case number 081989-2024.
