Dallas Police
30 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call in the 7500 block of Chaucer Place. The preliminary investigation determined that 36-year-old Oliver Moffett had been shot and died from his injuries. A suspect was located at a local hospital and is in custody with pending charges. The suspect’s name will not be released until after being booked into jail. This ongoing investigation is documented under case number 191197-2024.
