Dallas Police
On July 1, 2023, Dallas Police responded after skeletal remains were found in a wooded area around 7500 S. Lancaster Road.
On September 20, the Medical Examiner’s office identified the remains as 41-year-old Michael Mupfukudzwa, who was the subject of a want to locate report on 166223-2022, reported on September 12, 2022.
The preliminary investigation determined the man had been shot.
The case is now being investigated as a homicide under case number 126021-2023.
