45 PM, officers responded to a shooting call in the 7700 block of Harry Hines Blvd. The preliminary investigation determined when officers arrived, they found a vehicle abandoned at the location.
Further investigation determined that the victim from that vehicle was transported to a local hospital, where he died from his injuries.
On March 12, 2023, at about 12:10 a.m., officers checked the registration of the vehicle, and it came back to a residence in the 2300 block of Gilford Street. The preliminary investigation determined when officers arrived, they found two persons dead from gunshot wounds at the location.
There is no suspect in custody.
The preliminary information determined that these two incidents appear to be related. This was not a random shooting and appeared to be criminal activity.
The victims are not being identified at this time, pending next of kin notification.
