Dallas Police
10 p.m., Dallas Police were dispatched to a field in the 800 block of Brazos Street after a 911 call for a report of human remains. The preliminary investigation determined when officers arrived they found the body of a woman.
On July 17, 2023, an autopsy was done by the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office and the cause of death was ruled a homicide.
The identity of the woman is unknown.
