Dallas Police
05 a.m., Dallas police responded to a shooting call in the 3600 block of Dixon Avenue. The preliminary investigation determined there was a disturbance at the location when unknown suspects started shooting.
Further investigation determined that a vehicle crash occurred shortly later, and officers found 50-year-old Danyeal Garrett shot inside a vehicle.
Dallas Fire-Rescue transported Garrett to a local hospital where he died.
