Dallas Police
35 p.m., officers responded to a shooting call in the 2900 block of St. George Drive. The preliminary investigation determined the suspect and victims were involved in an argument when the suspect shot them. Dallas-Fire-Rescue responded, and one victim died at the scene. The three other victims were transported to a local hospital in stable condition. The suspect, 30-year-old Kevin Violante-Varela, was arrested and charged with Murder. The deceased victim’s name will not be released pending family notifications. This remains an ongoing investigation documented under case number 000257-2025.
