ID Sought for Male Found in Trinity River

The Dallas Police Department and the Dallas County Southwestern Institute of Forensic Sciences is asking the public’s help identifying a man found dead on January 18, 2023. A passerby saw the man floating in the Trinity River and called for police.

The man is described as either White or Hispanic. He is approximately 5’7″ and has a surgically amputated right hand. The man also had numerous tattoos which are pictured here.

The name “Anthony Luna” was tattooed on his right shoulder and the name “Jose” was tattooed across the knuckles of his left hand. He also had a tattoo of a woman on his lower left flank and a rosary on the left hand/arm.
