Dallas Police
05 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call in the 700 block of Ft Worth Avenue. The preliminary investigation determined when officers arrived, they found a 16-year-old shot. The teen was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.
On December 9, 2023, the complainant died from his injuries, and the case was reassigned to the Homicide Unit.
This remains an ongoing investigation that will be documented under case number 217612-2023.
