Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a male at 5919 Beldart Street about 7:50 p.m. on Tuesday (June 27).
The identity of the victim, 18, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant N. Lazo and Detective M. Providence reported:
HPD patrol officers and Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to a shooting at a residence at the above location and found the victim lying on the front patio with a gunshot wound. HFD paramedics transported the victim to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
At this time, there is no known motive or suspect(s).
