The U.S. Department of Labor will hold a meeting of the Advisory Board on Toxic Substances and Worker Health for Part E of the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act on May 17-18, 2023, in Idaho Falls.
The act provides compensation and medical benefits to current and former nuclear weapons workers diagnosed with medical conditions related to toxic substance exposures at covered nuclear facilities. The board advises the Secretary on certain technical aspects of the EEOICPA.
The board meeting will be open to the public, and participants can attend in person or online.
