LAPD Arrests Seven in Illegal Gambling Sting

The Los Angeles Police Department’s Southeast Area Vice Unit is announcing the arrest of seven suspects believed to be involved in an Illegal Gambling Operation.

On February 29, 2024, around 9 p.m., Vice officers conducted a search warrant near the 10000 block of South Main Street. This investigation stemmed from a LA Regional Crime Stoppers anonymous tip involving illegal gambling and narcotics activity.

During the operation, several illegal gambling machines, narcotics, and a firearm were recovered. Additionally, the following adults were arrested and cited for Los Angeles Municipal Code, Section 43.13.2, Present at a Gambling Location or for outstanding felony warrants. All are Los Angeles residents:

Suspect-1: Rodney Marsall, 42-years-old, Release from Custody Citation #J95301

Suspect-2: Rumaldo Agustin, 33-years-old, Release from Custody Citation #J95267

Suspect-3: Nikita Smith, 48-years-old, Release from Custody Citation #J95261

Suspect-4: Milagro Rivas, 34-years-old, Release from Custody Citation #J95323

Suspect-5: Brandon Banks, 20-years-old, Felony Warrant for 459 PC, Booking #6768408

Suspect-6: Jermaine Pinson, 46-years-old, Felony Warrant for 32 PC, Booking #6768424

Suspect-7: Swerte Patterson, 39-years-old, Felony Warrant for 3355B1 PC, Booking #6768441.
