Man Arrested for 11 Retail Thefts by DC Police

The Metropolitan Police Department’s announce the arrest of a suspect for multiple retail thefts in Northwest.

In each of the below offenses, the suspect entered a retail establishment and stole merchandise.

  • On October 17, 2023, at approximately 8:48 a.m. in the 3300 block of Connecticut Avenue, Northwest. CCN 23171028
  • On December 2, 2023, at approximately 6:37 p.m. in the 3300 block of Connecticut Avenue, Northwest CCN 23196476
  • On December 16, 2023, at approximately 8:50 p.m. in the 3300 block of Connecticut Avenue, Northwest CCN 23204363
  • On January 17, 2024, at approximately 9:17 p.m. in the 3300 block of Connecticut Avenue, Northwest. CCN 24008555
  • On January 17, 2024, at approximately 9:17 p.m. in the 3300 block of Connecticut Avenue, Northwest. CCN 24008556
  • On January 17, 2024, at approximately 9:18 in the 3300 block of Connecticut Avenue, Northwest. CCN 24008557
  • On January 17, 2024, at approximately 9:19 p.m. in the 3300 block of Connecticut Avenue, Northwest. CCN 24008558, 24008559
  • On January 18, 2024, between 5:27 p.m. and 5:32 p.m. in the 4300 block of Connecticut Avenue, Northwest. CCN 24008947, 24008948, 24008950

On Tuesday, July 16, 2024, pursuant to D.C. Superior Court arrest warrant, 29-year-old Paul Loose of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with 11 counts of Theft Second Degree for the above offenses.
