Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a man found at 100 Yale Street about 7:25 a.m. on Wednesday (March 5).
The identity and cause of death of the man, 39, are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives J. Nguyen and W. Huff reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a report of a deceased person at the above address and found an unresponsive male lying on the sidewalk below an overhead railroad track. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the man deceased. There were no obvious signs of trauma to the man’s body.
The investigation is pending cause of death, to be determined by an autopsy.
