The Metropolitan Police Department announces the arrest of a suspect involved in a Southeast burglary.
On Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at approximately 6:45 a.m., officers responded to the 600 block of Raleigh Street, Southeast for a report of a burglary. The victim reported that a suspect unlawfully entered her residence. While inside, the suspect stole items from the residence then fled the scene.
On Tuesday October 8, 2024, as result of the detectives’ investigation, 42-year-old Ralph Phillips, of no fixed address was arrested and charged with Burglary in the First Degree.
