The Metropolitan Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in multiple armed carjackings.
In each of the below offenses, the suspect approached the victim who was near or on their moped while displaying a handgun. The suspect demanded the victim’s moped. The victim complied. The suspect fled the scene on the moped.
• On Monday, September 2, 2024, at approximately 9:40 p.m. in the Unit block of K Street, Northeast The moped has been recovered CCN:24135501
• On Friday, September 13, 2024, at approximately 9:39 p.m. in the Unit block of Pierce Street, Northeast. CCN: 24141705
• On Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at approximately 9:05 p.m. in the 1100 block of 1st Street, Northwest. The moped has been recovered CCN: 24143994

Anyone who can identify this suspect or who has knowledge of these incidents should take no action but call police
