The Metropolitan Police Department is searching for a suspect in reference to an armed robbery which occurred in Southeast D.C.
On Saturday, January 18th, 2025, at approximately 9:00am, officers responded to the 1500 block of Alabama Avenue, Southeast for reports of a robbery. Officers discovered that a suspect approached the victim in a parking lot, brandished a handgun, and demanded property from the victim’s vehicle. The suspect made good on his escape.
The suspect was captured by surveillance camera footage and can be seen in the photo below.
Anyone who can identify this suspect or who has knowledge of this incident should take no action but call police
