The Metropolitan Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance in locating a suspect involved in a burglary of a business and an armed robbery in Northwest.
On Saturday, September 14, 2024, at approximately 7:16 a.m., the suspect forcibly entered a closed business in the 800 block of V Street, Northwest. The suspect made contact with the victim and held him at gunpoint while demanding his property. The suspect then fled the scene with the stolen property.
The suspect was captured by a surveillance camera and can be seen in the photo below:
Anyone who can identify this suspect or who has knowledge of this incident should take no action but call police
