Dallas Police
25 a.m., Dallas police officers were involved in a vehicle chase that resulted in an officer-involved shooting in Red Oak, Ellis County, Texas.
The preliminary investigation determined officers were pursuing a capital murder suspect that ended in a traffic accident involving the suspect vehicle and an uninvolved vehicle, on southbound Interstate 35, near the intersection at Red Oak Road.
There were no officers injured.
The Office of Community Police Oversight was notified and responded to the scene.
The Texas Department of Public Safety will investigate the officer-involved shooting. The Red Oak Police Department will investigate the traffic accident.
