Los Angeles Police Department South Bureau Homicide detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the person responsible for the shooting death of a man in the Vermont Vista area.
On Sunday, March 3, 2024, just before 10 p.m., Southeast Area patrol officers responded to a radio call of a shooting in front of a sports bar located at 12000 block of South Figueroa Street in Los Angeles. The officers discovered a 31-year-old man who had been fatally shot in front of the location. A 42-year-old man was also shot and transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. There is no suspect description at this time.
