57 AM, officers responded to a shooting call in the 8200 block of E. RL Thornton Freeway. The preliminary investigation determined the victim and the unknown suspect were involved in a fight that escalated when the suspect shot the victim. The suspect left the location in a silver color, older model Chevy Malibu (seen in the video below). The victim was transported to a local hospital for further medical treatment.
