DC Metropolitan Police
Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Seventh District seek the public’s assistance in locating a suspect in reference to an Attempted Robbery offense that occurred on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, in the 2900 block of Martin Luther King Jr Avenue, Southeast.
At approximately 3:45 pm, the suspect entered an establishment at the listed location. The suspect brandished an unknown object and passed a note telling the employee not to press any alarms. The employee triggered the alarm causing the suspect to flee the scene.
The suspect was captured by surveillance cameras and can be seen in the photos below:
Anyone who can identify this individual or who has knowledge of this incident should take no action but call police
