Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Seventh District seek the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) offense that occurred in the 400 block of Southern Avenue, Southeast.
On Friday, December 1, 2023, at approximately 9:11 am., the suspect approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect brandished a knife and demanded property from the victim. The victim complied. The suspect fled the scene.

Anyone who can identify this suspect or who has knowledge of this incident should take no action but call police
