Houston police have released surveillance photos of three males wanted for questioning in the fatal shooting of a man at 9301 Fondren Road about 10 p.m. on March 28.
The individuals are described only as black males in their 20s. One of the males, wearing a black T-shirt, sweatpants with stripes and a black ball cap, is considered a suspect in the shooting. The two other males, one wearing a white sweatshirt and the other wearing all black and eyeglasses, are considered persons of interest.
They are believed to have information in the death of Benny VanRoss, 28.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives D. Lunceford and J. Jorsch reported:
Officers responded to a report of a shooting in the parking lot of a convenience store at the above address and found an unresponsive male with a gunshot wound. Responding Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the man, later identified as Mr. VanRoss, deceased at the scene.
Detectives learned three males were possibly involved in or witnessed the incident.
