Dallas Police
00 p.m., Dallas Police officers responded to a shooting call in the 4200 block of Port Blvd. The preliminary investigation determined that the victim, 61-Year-old Donald Claude Jackson, was shot multiple times during an exchange of gunfire with the suspect.
The victim died from his injuries, and the suspect was transported to a local hospital in stable condition. The investigation is ongoing and will be documented on case number 040661-2023. The suspect will be charged with Capital Murder.
