Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 3108 Burkett Street about 2:50 a.m. today (January 4).
The identity of the victim, 24, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Brooks and Detective A. Hernandez reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at a residence at the above address and found the victim unresponsive and lying on the driveway. He had been shot multiple times. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the man deceased.
At this time, there is no known motive or suspect description.
