Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 8103 Creekbend Drive about 9:45 p.m. on Thursday (May 9).
The identity of the victim, 27, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Arrington and Detective D. Stark reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a failure to stop and render aid call in the parking lot of a gas station at the above address. It was then determined the victim had been shot while in the driver’s seat of his vehicle. The vehicle then crashed into a pole at the location. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the man deceased.
At this time, there is no known motive or suspect description.
