Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 832 West Greens Road about 8:45 p.m. on Saturday (Dec. 30).
The identity of the victim, 22, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant R. Montalvo and Detective D. Higgs reported:
Officers responded to a shooting call at the apartment complex at the above address and located a male victim with a gunshot wound. The man had knocked on residents’ doors requesting assistance. Paramedics transported the victim to an area hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.
At this time, there is no suspect description or motive in the shooting.
