Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a male and the wounding of another at 14711 South Main Street about 1:10 a.m. on Monday (April 1).
The identity of the deceased male is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant K. Persad and Detective L. Gonzales reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at a gas station at the above address and found on victim inside the gas station with gunshot wounds. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported the victim to an area hospital in critical condition. A second victim was found unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds in a wooded area behind the gas station. Paramedics pronounced the male deceased.
At this time, there is no known suspect description.
