Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a woman found at 9200 Westheimer Road about 9:05 a.m. last Friday (September 22).
The identity and cause of death of the woman, 40, are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant A. Dudley and Detective K. Heaverlo reported:
A family member of the woman discovered her unresponsive in the living room of the residence. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the residence and pronounced the woman deceased,
According to family members, the woman spent the previous night consuming alcohol before returning home and falling asleep. She was discovered the next morning.
A preliminary investigation found no immediate signs of foul play and the investigation is pending results of an autopsy.
