Remains Found at 65 Hirsch Rd Under Investigation

Houston police are awaiting autopsy results on skeletal remains found at 65 Hirsch Road about 5 p.m. on Wednesday (February 12).

The gender, identity and cause of death are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives C. Davidson and R. Bounds reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a suspicious package call at the above address and met with a witness, who stated he found what are believed to be human skeletal remains in a cooler. HPD homicide detectives and investigators from the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences responded to the scene.

At this time, the investigation is pending cause of death, to be determined by an autopsy.
