Dallas Police
15 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call in the 1000 block of Rose Garden Avenue. The preliminary investigation determined when officers arrived they found the victim, Nancy Banda, 36, shot at the location. Banda was transported to an area hospital by Dallas Fire-Rescue.
On June 27, 2023, Banda died from her injuries, and the case was reassigned to the Homicide Unit.
The investigation is ongoing, and documented under case number 115817-2023.
