TAMPA, FL (December 08, 2024) – The Tampa Police Department is assisting in the search for missing inmate 15-year-old Jahmir Moore.
Moore was arrested on December 4th, 2024, in connection to the death of 14-year-old Jevario Buie. He was being held at the Hillsborough Regional Juvenile Detention Center in the custody of the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice.
Moore was discovered missing this morning and there’s evidence to indicate that he escaped the facility.
Community members who see Moore are urged to immediately call 911. Please do not engage with him.
