🍀Lucky You! Here’s the info for Tampa’s St. Patrick’s Festivities🍀

Get ready, Tampa – spring break and St. Patrick’s celebrations are coming together for a lucky, but busy weekend filled with large crowds and heavier than usual traffic.

Curtis Hixon Park in downtown Tampa will be the center of the action on Saturday, March 15, 2025, as both the River O’ Green and St. Patrick’s Day Parade will draw a combined crowd of around 10,000 people. River O’ Green runs from 11:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M., with the parade starting at 3:00 P.M. Please follow posted signs and be aware of associated road closures near the parade route. The route is the same as last year, starting at Morgan St. & Madison St., then turning onto Ashley Dr., andending at Ashley Dr. and Polk St.

Additionally, boaters should be aware the Hillsborough River will be closed off to traffic on Saturday between Cass St. and Kennedy Blvd. from 8:30 A.M. until noon.

Folks leaving the festivities on Saturday should also be aware of incoming traffic heading to a Tampa Bay Sun FC soccer game at Blake High School. It begins at 7:30 P.M.

That evening, an estimated 60,000 fans will fill Raymond James Stadium for a Savannah Bananas game, causing heavy traffic around the stadium and surrounding roads.

🍀Plan Ahead – Don’t Leave It to Luck!🍀

Expect detours and congestion, roads will be busier than a leprechaun guarding his gold!

Arrive early, parking spots will vanish quicker than a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

Consider the Free TECO Streetcar, Dash Service, HART buses, rentable scooters, or rideshare to get to and from your destination.
