Dallas Police
20 p.m., Dallas police responded to a man with a gun trying to break into an apartment in the 3100 block of Norwalk Avenue.
The preliminary investigation determined when officers arrived, they gave him verbal commands and the suspect produced a gun.
Officers fired their weapons. Suspect was pronounced deceased at the scene. No officers were injured.
The Dallas County District Attorney’s Office and Office of Community Police Oversight were notified and responded.
The investigation is ongoing.
