Dallas Police
55 AM, Dallas Police responded to a shooting call in the 3500 block of St. Francis Avenue.
The preliminary investigation determined when officers arrived, they found 31-year-old Edward Upkins shot lying on the ground. Dallas Fire Rescue responded and transported Upkins to a local hospital where he died. The investigation is ongoing, and the case will be referred to a Grand Jury. The case is documented under case number 107325-2024.
