Suspect Arrested in Southeast Fatal Stabbing

The Metropolitan Police Department announces an arrest has been made in a fatal stabbing in Southeast.

On Friday, August 30, 2024, at approximately 4:29 p.m., officers responded to the 3800 block of South Capitol Street, Southeast, for the report of a stabbing. Upon arrival, officers located an adult female, inside of a residence, suffering from multiple stab wounds. DC Fire and EMS responded to the scene, and despite lifesaving efforts, the victim succumbed to her injuries.

The decedent has been identified as 42-year-old Tiffany Parker of Southeast, DC.

Responding officers located the suspect and placed him under arrest. As a result of detectives’ investigation, 64-year-old Adrian Morgan of Southeast, DC, was charged with Second Degree Murder While Armed.
