The Metropolitan Police Department announces the arrest of a suspect in connection with two robberies in Northwest D.C.
On Sunday, January 12, 2025, at approximately 12:40 p.m., Fourth District officers responded to a robbery at the intersection of Spring Road and 10th Street, Northwest. Two suspects approached the victim, displayed a handgun, and demanded the victim’s property. The victim complied, and the suspects fled the scene. CCN: 25005288
Later that day, at approximately 2:42 p.m., Third District officers responded to another robbery in the 1800 block of 7th Street, Northwest. Two suspects approached the victim, displayed handguns, and demanded the victim’s property. The victim complied, and the suspects fled the scene. CCN: 25005317
On Monday, February 10, 2025, a 17-year-old male from Southeast, D.C., was arrested and charged with Robbery pursuant to a D.C. Superior Court custody order.
