TAMPA, FL. (February 15th, 2025) – The Tampa Police Department is responding to a shooting that injured three people.
Shortly before 1:00 pm, officers received a call for shots heard in the area of 2600 E 28th Ave. Upon arrival, they located three individuals with gunshot wounds. Three adult males were taken to the hospital where one was pronounced deceased, the other two are being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Investigators are working to determine what led up to the shooting.
The intersection of East 28th Avenue and 28th Street is closed due to the investigation.
