TAMPA, FL. (February 19, 2025) – – Tampa Police are actively investigating a shooting that occurred in the 8100 block of N. 13th St. just after 4:00 pm Tuesday. Two individuals, an adult black male and a black male in his late teens, sustained non-life-threatening gunshot wounds and were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Preliminary information suggests the two were involved in an exchange of gunfire with the occupants of a newer model, dark-colored vehicle that fled the scene immediately following the incident.
Detectives are in the early stages of this active investigation and are working to gather evidence, determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting, and identify and locate all parties involved.
