Two Teens Nabbed by DC Police for Northeast Carjacking

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Fifth District announce the arrest of two suspects for an unarmed carjacking.

On March 28, at 8:50 p.m., Fifth District officers responded to the intersection of 12th Street and Jackson Street NE for the report of an unarmed carjacking. The victim stated she was in her vehicle when two suspects demanded her keys and forcibly removed her from the vehicle. The suspects then drove off in the vehicle.

A short time later, officers located the car and conducted a traffic stop in the 500 block of S Street NW. The suspects, a 14-year-old male and a 15-year-old male, both of Northeast, were arrested and charged with Unarmed Carjacking.
